Shania is a Co-Director of Barre None Dance Studio. She has a Bachelor Degree in Education from Vancouver Island University. Barre None is the foundation of what sparked Shania’s love for teaching, inspiring, and creating. When she started dancing at Barre None, she quickly discovered this was her place to flourish. She immersed herself in many genres of dance; Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Hip Hop. Shania is passionate about sharing her love for dance, and teaching how valuable it can be in ones life!
Brydie is a Co-Director of Barre None Dance Studio, She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from the University of Calgary. Brydie grew up dancng at Barre None and during her time as a student she found a home in all styles of dance, Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Hip Hop and Contemporary. She went from student to teacher and is eagar to pass on all that she has learned to the next generation of BN dancers!
Bonnie grew up dancing in the Cowichan Valley in a variety of styles. She has a bachelor’s degree in
Psychology from Vancouver Island University. While completing her degree, Bonnie began teaching
dance and learned she loved it. She has since attended courses at the ISTD headquarters in London,
England, obtained her Associate qualification in ISTD Modern and a Diploma in Dance Teaching
Studies from the Royal Academy of Dance. She hopes to encourage her students to enjoy a lifetime
of dancing as she has been able to do.
"Mother says I was a dancer before I could walk. She says I began to sing long before I could talk..." Kelli's life has always been filled with music and movement -- and she wouldn't want it any other way! Along with her love for Barre None, she is the Head of Dance at Shawnigan Lake School, where she teaches and choreographs. In her non-existent 'spare time', Kelli enjoys performing on stage and her role as 'Momager' to her children, Havok & Khaos.
