BARRE
NONE teaches the Royal
Academy of Dance (R.A.D.) ballet syllabus - the most recognized and
accredited ballet organization in the world. Students learn
ballet technique while developing proper posture, poise and
grace . Ballet is the fundamental basis for all dance
forms and is highly encouraged for all students.
BARRE NONE offers classes from beginner to advanced training,
from 10 years and up.
BARRE
NONE jazz classes consists of a
warm-up , centre floor, stretch, sequences and routines, all of
which develop technique and style. Jazz training also
develops stamina, physical fitness, flexibility and
strength. Jazz classes are availalbe for dancers 6
years old to adult. The First Steps class is an opportunity for new
dancers (3-5 year olds) to creatively learn movement in a fun and
safe environment.
BARRE
NONE tap training develops a
dancer's rhythm and co-ordination. Each class includes
warm-up, progressions and routines. Whether you count, sing
or stomp out the steps, your feet will be the music. Tap classes
are availalbe for dancers 6 years old to
adult.
BARRE
NONE Company members are
dancers who want performance training and performance
opportunities. Company class focus purely on choreography;
therefore, to become a company member dancers MUST take a ballet
class and one other class to be eligible. Dancers that train
in ballet, jazz and tap at BARRE NONE will be invited to take the company class for
free. BARRE NONE Company will represent the studio in major
Dance Festivals on the Island and will perform at other
public appearances. BARRE NONE Company dancers must be
committed and attend ALL rehearsals and performances. (14 years and
older)
*Classes will
ONLY run if there are 5 or more students
*Although
classes are broken down by age, students will NOT be placed in a
class that is above their ability.
This is to be fair to both the student and the other dancers in
that class.
